The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club is known as an engaging and fun group of business, professional and community leaders who give their talent, time and money to doing good work on community and social causes.
The Westport Sunrise Rotary provides financial assistance to local social service organizations as well to community projects with Rotary partners in countries such as Brazil, Egypt, Guatemala, Haiti, India and Zimbabwe. Learn more about who we are by clicking on About Us.
We meet weekly at Bobby Q's, 42 Main Street, Westport, 7:30 to 9:00 am on Friday mornings. Guests are always welcome.
The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club is accepting applications for charitable contributions in 2012. Please Click Here to submit an application. Applications and any supporting materials should be returned by February 29, 2012 in order to be considered.
Guests are always welcome at Rotary meetings. There is a fee of $12 per person for breakfast.
Westport Sunrise Rotary and its foundation devote their limited resources to those organizations that address "human needs" in the local area. Members of the Club are involved in many of these efforts and special consideration is given to organizations for which a Club member is advocating financial support. Prime consideration goes to those (a) for whom a contribution from the Club will have the most impact, (b) who are well managed and spend a lesser percentage of their funds on "administrative costs" and (c) who receive a lesser percentage of their funds from government agencies.
